What equipment does River of Beer provide?

We provide a basic PA system, microphones, and stands.

Bands must bring their own instruments, cables, and any additional gear needed.
Can bands sell merchandise?

Yes! Bands can sell CDs, shirts, stickers, and other merchandise during their performance.

River of Beer does not take a cut of merch sales.

We encourage bands to promote their merch and let fans know where to find it.
What is the rain policy for outdoor shows?

In the case of rain, shows may be rescheduled to Sunday, if no other band is booked.

Rain cancellations are decided by [X time] on the day of the event and will be communicated via email.

If a rain date isn’t available, the show may be fully canceled.
What is the payment policy?

Payment is a set fee depending on band size and is agreed upon during booking

Payment is made at the end of the performance.

Bands are welcome to accept tips from the audience.

Depending on the crowd and revenue from food and drinks, our ability to increase band budgets in the future improves.
Does River of Beer help with promotion?
Yes! We promote events through our social media and website.

Bands should cross-promote as much as possible by sharing event details, posting on social media, and inviting their fans.

Bands should also share their social media handles with us so we can tag and promote them in event posts.
What time do shows start, and how long are sets?

Friday & Saturday shows: 8 PM – 11 PM.

Sunday shows: Start at 2 PM or 3 PM.

Most bands play for three hours with breaks in between sets.

Set length can be adjusted based on booking agreements.
When can bands set up?

Setup can happen anytime after 11 AM on the day of the event.

Please allow enough time for sound checks and adjustments before your set.
What is the cancellation policy?

If a band needs to cancel, we require at least 7 days’ notice.

Last-minute cancellations may impact future bookings.

If River of Beer cancels a gig, we will work to reschedule or compensate fairly.
Additional Notes:

Please arrive at least 1 hour before showtime for final setup and sound check.

Be respectful of volume levels and work with our sound staff.
